Webinars - Recognition & Rewards

The Dutch Recognition & Rewards network, the Comenius network and Ruth Graham would like to invite you to a series of webinars regarding recognition and rewards of university teaching, open to the full higher education community.

The first webinar will take place on Monday 23 November 9:30-11:00 am (Central European Time). In this webinar you will be welcomed by Jeroen Geurts, President of the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development (ZonMw) and board member of the Dutch Research Council (NWO). The webinar will be moderated by Ruth Graham.

In the webinar, we will introduce the challenges and opportunities of reforming institutional reward systems, from a range of different perspectives. Our invited speakers will provide us with insights regarding implemented changes in their organizations, the opportunities and challenges they face during the change process and their current or upcoming activities to enhance the process.

When we have gained new insights from these speakers, the webinar provides room for questions and discussion among all participants.

Speakers:

  • Joe Chicharo (University of Wollongong, Australia)
  • Manon Kluijtmans (Utrecht University, Netherlands)
  • Sam Smidt (UCL, UK)

The second webinar will take place on Friday 27 November 9:30-11:00 am (Central European Time). In this webinar you will be welcomed by Pieter Duisenberg, president of the Dutch Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU). Ruth Graham will be again the moderator.
